Gulf Shores for Thanksgiving

This was a wonderful trip with our friends Betty and Cindy.
We left on a Saturday morning and had a pleasant drive through Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi and then finally Alabama. We stopped for lunch at Subway and had dinner at Wendy's.
It was night when we drove through Mobile and while our GPS went crazy, we enjoyed the beautiful buildings and the way the nighttime lighting.
Our rental house was absolutely perfect. It was right on the beach.

On Sunday, we went shopping at the Publix Grocery store and  bought some steelhead trout for dinner. It was quite good.

On Monday, we had a picnic at Ft. Morgan. Throughout the week, we saw the Blue Angels practicing since they are based in Pensacola.  We saw the ferry at Ft. Morgan and all the rental homes out that way as well. Dinner that night was at the Oyster House.

Tuesday was lunch at the Pink Pony. We sat outside on the deck and enjoyed
On Wednesday, we drove to Orange Beach and Pensacola and had an awesome lunch in Florida.
Thursday was a big Thanksgiving feast at the Hangout.

Friday, we had dinner at Bahama Bob's
Saturday, it was time to return home. We had lunch at Sonic in Alabama and dinner was our picnic at the Loves lot. The end of the drive was very foggy and we were glad to get home safely.
